Lecture Examines Race-Based Perceptions of Innocence

Rutgers University–Camden will offer a free public lecture addressing the disparate, race-based perceptions of innocence among youth at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. Scholar and award-winning author Robin Bernstein will present Rutgers–Camden’s Second Annual Childhood Studies Lecture, titled “Trayvon Martin and So Many More: Racial Innocence Today.” A reception will precede the event at 6 p.m.
