Senior Earns Stedman Art Purchase Award

The Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts has named Jennifer Jakimiak, a graduating senior art student at Rutgers University–Camden, as the 2014 recipient of the Stedman Art Purchase Award. The Haddon Township resident earned the nod for her senior thesis exhibit, “Nothing is Ever as it Seems,” currently on display in the Stedman Gallery.

Students Conduct Campus-Based Veterans History Project

A contingent of Rutgers University–Camden students and faculty is conducting a campus-based Veterans History Project. The initiative, which is sponsored by the Library of Congress, consists of recording biographical, service, and combat information for veterans who served in combat theaters from World War II to the present day.
