Announcing New Dates for In-Person Celebrations of the Classes of 2021 and 2020

Sent Friday, May 21, 2021

To the Rutgers University–Camden Class of 2021:

Congratulations on completing your degree – an impressive achievement under normal circumstances made even more extraordinary by the pandemic and the challenges that it brought upon us all!

As President Holloway reported in his recent email to the university community, Rutgers is planning a series of live, in-person celebrations for the Classes of 2021 and 2020 this fall. The message listed Dec. 1-4 as Rutgers University–Camden’s dates. I am pleased to report that we have been able to move forward our dates to Nov. 8-11 at the BB&T Pavilion at the Camden Waterfront.

The BB&T will provide us with a venue large enough to accommodate your families for the celebration that you deserve. We are working to identify specific dates and times for our school-based ceremonies, and will share those details with you as soon as they are finalized.

You are an extraordinary class and we are very excited to be able to salute you and your accomplishments in person this fall. Please continue to monitor the Rutgers University–Camden commencement website for more details.

Margaret Marsh, Ph.D.
Interim Chancellor
