Cancellation of Study Abroad Programs at Rutgers–Camden

Sent Tuesday, March 3, 2020

To the Campus Community:

As noted in the message from President Barchi, the university has cancelled all Rutgers-sponsored study abroad semester programs, international spring break programs, and Rutgers faculty-sponsored study abroad programs. We understand this decision may have course credit and financial implications for students enrolled in learning abroad courses.

We are working with faculty members and the campus finance office to minimize any potential negative impact of these cancellations. We will communicate directly with those students impacted by this decision.

For more information about the cancellation of learning abroad programs at Rutgers–Camden, please contact Elizabeth Atkins, Associate Dean International Students & Programs, at or 856-225-2521.

We remain, as always, committed to your health, your well-being and to supporting our welcoming and respectful community values. We will continue to keep the Rutgers–Camden community informed as new developments evolve.
