Support Our Raptor Pantry during Giving Tuesday on Nov. 27

Sent Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018

To the Campus Community:

I hope that you enjoyed the Thanksgiving break and had a chance to relax and rejuvenate.

Tuesday, Nov. 27, is Giving Tuesday, a day when people around the world come together to give to their favorite causes. It’s an opportunity for each and every member of the Rutgers University–Camden community to express our Scarlet Pride and demonstrate what we can do when we rally together for a cause.

During this Giving Tuesday, all of Rutgers is challenging itself to see how much support it can garner for student food pantries. While there are many worthwhile projects for support on our campus, this Giving Tuesday will focus on the Raptor Pantry, which provides meals and resources to help our students stave off hunger and focus on their studies.

It’s difficult for students to thrive without consistent access to nutrition. Please support the Raptor Pantry by making a gift at one.rutgers.edu/StopStudentHunger. Be certain to designate “Rutgers University–Camden” as the recipient of your gift. Take a moment to view this video of the Raptor Pantry.

If you have any questions, contact Scott Owens, director of alumni relations and alumni giving, at 856-225-6028 or scowens@camden.rutgers.edu. Scott and his team are ready to assist you.

I hope that you will join me in supporting our students by making a gift to the Raptor Pantry as part of Giving Tuesday. As always, thank you for your support of Rutgers University–Camden.

Phoebe A. Haddon, J.D., LL.M.
