To the Campus Community:

I am pleased to report that the Board of Governors approved the following faculty promotions and tenure appointments at its meeting on Tuesday, June 12:

FACULTY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Chemistry
Dr. Guillaume Lamoureux, Associate Professor (appointment with tenure)
Computer Science
Dr. Rajiv Gandhi, Professor I
English
Prof. Lauren Grodstein, Professor I
History
Dr. Andrew Shankman, Professor I

Please join me in extending warm congratulations to these faculty colleagues.

These achievements are in addition to those members of the Rutgers University–Camden faculty who received tenure and promotion notice at the April meeting of the Board of Governors.

I am pleased to also report that the Board of Governors approved the creation of a master of science in forensic science degree program that will leverage our cross-disciplinary strengths to prepare students for careers in forensic biology and forensic chemistry. I applaud Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Kris Lindenmeyer and her team for establishing this distinctive and innovative graduate program, which awaits approval from the New Jersey Presidents’ Council.
