Think Bigger for Rutgers University-Camden during Rutgers Giving Day!

To the Campus Community:

Today is Rutgers Giving Day!

Since midnight, #RUGivingDay has been in full swing, bringing together alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the entire Rutgers community to “think bigger” by giving to their favorite areas at Rutgers and help make a collective impact all in one day. Below are some ways that our campus community can support Rutgers University–Camden:

  • Make a gift to your favorite area at Rutgers and help that area win extra support through various giving challenges, such as:
    • The Faculty/Staff Giving Challenge: during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the four areas that receive the most gifts, by University location, from faculty/staff will win an extra $500 to those areas. This challenge will be extended through 5 p.m. on Thursday.
    • The Student Giving Challenge: for every 100 students giving, one student will be randomly selected to win an additional $250 toward that same area.
  • Polaroid selfie for students. Keep one and add one to the Rutgers Giving Day “Think Bigger” photo display wall. Share it with #RUGivingDay while mentioning your favorite area and it could be selected to win an extra $500.
  • Calling all Class of 2018 seniors. Make a gift to be counted in your class campaign, and if you make a $25 gift (or $5 monthly recurring), you’ll be recognized later with a philanthropy cord to wear during Commencement.

Students, don’t forget to stop by the Campus Center between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, to take part in all the fun and grab some giveaways.

Lastly, be sure to follow Rutgers social media and enter the various #RUGivingDay challenges. We have the power to make something BIG happen for Rutgers University–Camden. Let’s do it together!

Scarlet forever,

Phoebe A. Haddon, J.D., LL.M.
