The Rutgers School of Business–Camden is partnering with the Archer & Greiner law firm to help owners of small and family businesses — as well as aspiring entrepreneurs — navigate financial and marketing challenges and expand business opportunities.

The Archer & Greiner/Rutgers University Small and Family Business “Unlock Your Potential” Training Series includes four two-hour sessions led by business experts and Rutgers University–Camden faculty members.

The sessions will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden on March 17, and at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken on April 21, May 12, and June 15. Topics include financing a business, managing risk, marketing through social media, and creating brand loyalty.

“With the multitude of challenges facing small and family-owned businesses today, having a deeper understanding of the key elements of finance and marketing enables business owners, decision makers, and aspiring entrepreneurs to be more proactive and nimble in this fast-paced economy,” says Karen McCaffrey, assistant director of executive education at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden. “This series is intended to provide useful business information in an educational format delivered by leading business professionals.”

Participants may register for individual courses for $45 each or all four courses for $150. For more information and to register, visit familybusiness.rutgers.edu.
