Rutgers University Singers to Host Master Class with Rollo Dilworth

The Rutgers­ University Singers will host their second free master class this semester, as Rollo Dilworth, chair of the Department of Music Education and Music Therapy at Temple University, shares his expertise on singing, conducting, and other musical techniques.

Dr.-Rollo-Dilworth-leading-SBCS-in-workshop-Feb.-18The class, which is free and open to the general public, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in the Mallery Room on the Rutgers University–Camden campus.

A frequent presenter at local, state, and national conferences, Dilworth has conducted 36 all-state choirs at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Dilworth has also had more than 150 of his original choral compositions and arrangements published, as well as contributed to several choral theory textbooks and authored three books of choral warm-up exercises.

The Mallery Room is located in the Fine Arts Complex on Third Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, on the Rutgers–Camden campus.
