Rutgers-Camden Grad Named ETS President

A Rutgers-Camden alumnus has been named president and CEO of Educational Testing Service.

Walt MacDonald (CCAS ’74, GSNB ’83), will begin his new role with the world-leading nonprofit educational measurement and research organization on January 1. he currently serves as ETS’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. ETS develops, tests, and scores 50 million tests annually. It is responsible for the college admission test SAT, graduate school GRE, and advanced placement exams.

“I have spent most of my professional life at ETS, and every day I am reminded of how fortunate I am for the opportunity to help improve teaching and learning for people literally all over the world. There are not many organizations where that is possible,” MacDonald said in a press release from the company.
