Wearing Their Heart on Their Sleeve

Rutgers-Camden student Alicia Rodriguez (pictured) puts the final touches on her anti-violence T-shirt.

anti-violenceThe Criminal Justice Organization (CJO) at Rutgers–Camden continued Anti-Violence Week in April by inviting all students to design T-shirts with an anti-violence message and hang them in the Campus Center. Students designed shirts using a variety of art media, including paint, markers and glitter. Those who designed the top three shirts, as voted on by members of the CJO, were awarded prizes.

Now in its second year, Anti-Violence Week was created by the CJO last year in an effort to encourage Rutgers–Camden students to pledge their support in eliminating all forms of violence, including bullying and sexual violence.
