Rutgers School of Business–Camden Part-Time MBA Program Ranked Among the Best by U.S. News and World Report
The publication, which annually ranks the top higher education institutions and programs around the world, ranked Rutgers University–Camden’s program 89th among 296 part-time MBA programs that qualified for the ranking. Part-time MBA programs at Rutgers University–New Brunswick and Newark and at Seton Hall University were the only other New Jersey programs ranked in the category.
According to the U.S. News and World Report, “Part-time business programs play a vital role for working people who can’t go to school full time for family or financial reasons.” Rutgers–Camden’s part-time MBA program is designed with working professionals in mind and offers courses through an innovative curriculum that includes policy and strategy, as well as accounting, ecommerce, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, and marketing.
In addition to the part-time MBA, the Rutgers School of Business–Camden offers a professional master of business administration program (PMBA), a 21-month accelerated degree program that includes a week-long international residency and is taught by world-class Rutgers faculty.
The U.S. News and World Report part-time MBA ranking is based on five factors: average peer assessment score; average GMAT score and average GRE quantitative and verbal scores of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2015; average undergraduate GPA of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2015; work experience of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2015; and the percentage of the business school’s fall 2015 MBA enrollment that is part time.
To be eligible for the part-time ranking, a program must be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International and have at least 20 students enrolled part time in fall 2015.
