Increased Traffic Expected Due to Rutgers–Camden Graduation Ceremonies on Wednesday, May 21, and Thursday, May 22
CAMDEN — Rutgers University–Camden will hold five commencement ceremonies on Wednesday, May 21, and Thursday, May 22. Rutgers police advise motorists to expect increased traffic and possible delays on roads leading to the Rutgers–Camden campus.
On May 21, two ceremonies will be held at the Susquehanna Bank Center, beginning at noon with the Rutgers School of Business–Camden. At 3 p.m. the inaugural Rutgers–Camden Commencement and Honors Convocation will be held.
Three graduation ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 22, starting at 10 a.m. with the Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden, which will be held in the Walter K. Gordon Theater on the Rutgers–Camden campus. Parking for this ceremony will be available in Rutgers lots.
Later that day, two ceremonies will be held in the Susquehanna Bank Center: the Rutgers School of Law–Camden at 1 p.m. and the Rutgers–Camden College of Arts and Sciences/Graduate School/University College at 6 p.m.
During each event at the Susquehanna Bank Center, parking will be available in lots directly across the street from the amphitheater.
Extra traffic should be expected throughout the day on Cooper Street in Camden, as well as Route 676 and the Admiral Wilson Boulevard.
